MIJE/POLITICO Journalism Training Program

The Maynard Institute will partner again in 2015 with POLITICO and American University to run the POLITICO Journalism Institute, a program that will bring  a dozen promising college students from around the country for training in covering politics and government.

The program will run from June 5-12. Expenses including transportation and housing will be covered. The application deadline is May 8.

"Expanding the diversity of the press corps that covers Washington continues to be a critical need. We are pleased to partner again with POLITICO and American University and build on the success of last year’s program in training a new generation of journalists, said Maynard Institute acting executive director Evelyn Hsu.

More information about the program and a link to the application is here.
