Jason Begay

Jason Begay, Navajo, is the director of the Reznet, a Native American news, information and entertainment Web site that also trains and mentors American Indian college students around the country as they prepare for journalism careers.
Begay grew up on the Navajo reservation, is a former Navajo Times reporter where he covered tribal government and education. Begay has worked at several newspapers across the country, including The Oregonian, The New York Times and The Oakland Tribune.
