Veronica De La Cruz is a Filipino American television anchor formerly with CNN.  She currently appears on both NBC and MSNBC, primarily anchoring NBC's Early Today show and MSNBC's First Look. As an anchor and correspondent, De La Cruz served on CNN.com Live, CNN Pipeline, Headline News and CNN US, anchoring live coverage of major breaking stories such as Hurricane Katrina, the Southeast Asian Tsunami and the 2008 presidential elections. She also hosted CNN's  "Asian in America" a series that celebrated diversity in the Asian American community.
