John Yang is an American Peabody Award-winning television news correspondent, commentator, and journalist. He currently works for NBC as a correspondent and commentator, covering issues for all NBC News programming, including NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, Today, and MSNBC. In the past, he has also worked for ABC News as a correspondent.Yang is one of only a few openly gay national television correspondents.
